Different Types Of Transport
When travelling to different places there are 4 types of travel, these are Road, Rail, Air or Sea. Recently traveling by road and in a car has become the most popular way of travel, this is because of the increase of Car ownership and access to rental cars this made more people travel by road than any other form of transport. Also because of this increase it has helped coaches gain more business. For example if you decided to travel to somewhere like Scotland you could either use Rail or Road depending on where about you were
going. Or, if you were going on a Mediterranean Cruise you would use sea. If you wanted to take a Holiday abroad you would travel by air then maybe get either a coach or a taxi to transfer you to your accommodation for your stay.

Cruises have now become the most popular way of transport. There are four types of Cruises such as Royal Caribbean Line, P&O Cruise,Celebrity Cruises and Thomson Cruises. The world’s biggest cruise ship falls under the category of Royal Caribbean Cruises and has a total of 2,700 rooms on board with it having so many rooms this means there is more room for other tousits to go on it too. Cruises have also improved in the past 10 years as at first they was seen for elderly and only for the rich and famous, but now a turnaround has happened and attracting all different types of people. This will help give each of the business a large increase in business.
When flying by Air there are 3 different sections, Low Cost, Schedule and Charter. Low cost flights just include your flight you would not receive anything on the flight and if you don’t request a seat then you will be made to stand aside whilst the passengers who have reserved a seat get on thenyou will be allowed on the flight to just fill the spare seats, but are not guaranteed to sit with family or friends. Schedule flights are normally filled with business people who request a meal and snacks throughout their flight and automatically have an extra-large seat. Charter flights are normally filled with general holiday makers who just book tickets and get given their seats which normally you are sat with friends or family depending on the plane set out.
